Latest official release:
Engine v8.1.603 - GUI v8.1.11
Versions
The software package comes in two types of installers, online and offline. The online installer is a small executable which will automatically download the latest versions of both the Engine and the GUI. The offline installer is a larger executable which contains the entire package of a specific version of the Engine and the GUI. We always recommend using the online installer unless the machine doesn't have internet access.
Installation
Make sure you read our installation document and our blog post about license and compute node before installing our software.
Linux installations can be a bit tricky with missing/incompatible dependencies. If you're having troubles, please read our blog post about Installing IMPETUS on Linux.
Official releases
These versions are fully verified and QA-tested. For more information about our verified tests, please check our documents here.
For information about what's new in the latest version, please read our release notes.
Download
For Linux, pick the version that is closest to your distribution. If you are using Red Hat Enterprise Linux, AlmaLinux or Rocky Linux, choose the CentOS version as those distributions are very closely related. For Debian users, the Ubuntu version should be the closest.
A list of older engine versions (executable only) can be found here.

From version 6, IMPETUS Afea Solver requires CUDA 11 in order to utilise GPU acceleration.
This means that the server needs to have CUDA 11 compatible drivers installed. On 14th January 2020, Windows 7 and Windows Server 2012 reached the end of their life cycles and are no longer supported by Microsoft. Due to this, the latest Nvidia drivers no longer support these operating systems.
